A new information mass media campaign on water saving and conservation of water resources was launched in Azerbaijan. The campaign is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources (MENR), with the EUWI+ support.
Faced to the climate change the water resources scarcity is becoming ever more tangible. This was stated at a press conference on 30 August 2018 in the MENR. A video "We Save Water! » prepared by the EUWI + was presented on this occasion.
Rafig Verdiyev; EUWI+ Project National representative in Azerbaijan and a member of the MENR Public Ecological Council talked about water problems and ways of its improvement, including cooperation with project. In particular, was noted the importance of adopting the National Water Strategy, which is being prepared with the help of the project.
