On the occasion of the Europe Day, “European Villages” were held in the cities of Chisinau on 11-12 May and Cahul on 18-19 May.
Many stands presented the culture and the cuisine of European countries, and underlined the changes the EU's support brought in the Republic of Moldova.
Among the stands held by different government institutions, was the stand of the Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment: the main beneficiary of the European Water Initiative Plus (EUWI+) project.
The stand presented the EUWI+ project, which aims to assist the Republic of Moldova in the field of water management, supporting the development and implementation of pilot river basin management plans, the improvement of the water policy framework, along with the close participation from local stakeholders.
