Mr. Liviu Volconovici is appointed as Minister of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment of the Republic of Moldova (MARDE). Mrs Valentina Tapis, State Secretary for Environment and Natural Resources, is nominated as National Focal Point for EUWI+ Project in Moldova.

Implementing the European Union Water Initiative Plus for Eastern Partnership Countries (EUWI+ Project) with the assistance of the European Union is considered by the MARDE as a priority activity, addressing important issues of water management and implementation of the Association Agreement.
