EU helps Ukraine provide quality GIS services

On March 13, 2019 in the framework of the EUWI+ project, State Agency of Water Resources of Ukraine signed an Agreement with International Office for Water (France) on internet-server procurement using EU funds to promote the improvement of data management on water resources. This equipment will be used to ensure the work of Geoportal of Water Resources of Ukraine (State Water Cadastre) for the development and improvement of data management on water resources at national level, taking into account the SEIS principles for data collection and exchange.


It is expected that new internet-server will start working in Ukraine by the end of 2019.
