After a first event on 21 May, the Desna River Basin Authority (Desna BUVR) held a new seminar for water users and its employees on 12 July. About 50 participants attended the event.

Desna is a major left tributary of the Dnipro river.

The first part of the seminar was dedicated to the new on-line service for permit system and the second part focused on River Basin Management Plan (RBMP).

EUWI+ experts shared their knowledge with water users on the main concepts and content of a RBMP, and first results of Dnipro RBMP.

Desna BUVR staff learnt about more specific steps concerning environmental objectives and protected areas.

A discussion about the Significant Water Management Issues in Desna River Basin closed the first part of the seminar and prefigured the public consultation to be held in Desna River basin during first quarter 2020.

EUWI+ will continue its close cooperation with Desna River Basin Authority.
