The Low Dnipro River Basin Authority (BUVR) held a seminar for its employees, water users, and NGOs on 20 September. About 30 participants attended the event.

The first part of the seminar was dedicated to the River Basin Management Plan (RBMP) and the second part focused on issues of stakeholder involvement and communication.
EUWI+ experts shared their knowledge with water users on the main concepts and content of an RBMP, and the first results of the Dnipro RBMP.

Low Dnipro BUVR staff learned about French and European experience of basin councils, coordination with stakeholders, and how to organise public consultations.
A discussion about the significant water management issues in Low Dnipro River Basin wrapped up the first part of the seminar and prepared the way for the public consultation to be held in Low Dnipro River basin during the first quarter of 2020.
EUWI+ will continue its close cooperation with Low Dnipro River Basin Authority.
