On 27 April 2021 the UNECE organised joint meetings of the Working Group on Integrated Water Resources Management and the Working Group on Monitoring and Assessment under the Water Convention.
Representatives from the Eastern Partnership countries and all implementing partners shared latest results and achievements under the National Policy Dialogues in the frames of the European Union Water Initiative +.
Participants of the joint meeting of the Working Groups were updated on overall outcomes and recent developments under the EUWI+ project.

Representatives from Moldova and Armenia made statements sharing their national and transboundary experience and providing examples of concrete deliverables for the country and their impacts. A representative of EU Neighbourhood & Enlargement made a statement of behalf of the EU outlining plans for the next regional action in this domain.
43 countries around the world and the #EuropeanUnion are currently Parties to the Water Convention & Protocol on Water and Health.
The EU is supporting its activities and promotes countries' accession to the Water Convention.
